Who Am I?

My name is Joy.  I’ve been married to the love of my life for almost 33 years.  We have been blessed with 6 children.  3 grown and married daughters, who have blessed us with 9 grand babies.  We also have 3 children at home, 10, 11 & 13.  For the last 25+ years my husband and I have been missionaries in Ecuador.  At present we are planting a church in Manta, Ecuador.

I scrap for fun and to preserve our family memories for my children and grandchildren.  Last year I was give the awesome opportunity become a member of the Creative Team for 2 wonderful designers.  They have encouraged and mentored me along the way.  About 6 months ago, one of them asked me if I had ever thought about designing myself.  That got me started, and with their encouragement and help, I have started to design my own kits.  You will find previews and links for the kits under the tab, “digi-kits”.  Saying all of that, I don’t consider myself an “expert” on this subject.  This is something I enjoy doing for my own family and sharing with others.

I have also posted a lot of links on this blog to different sites.  I am not receiving any money from them to do so.  If I post a link, it is because I found it helpful to me on my journey of learning this art.  Also, I am not endorsing any particular company or site.  Nor, am I saying that I agree with every thing posted on a particular site or blog.

If you have never done digital scrapbooking and are interested in getting started, I suggest you check out the different posts under “The Basics” tab.

If you have comments or questions about anything I post, I would love to hear them.  I will answer any questions that I can, but again, I’m not claiming to be an expert in this field.  I will be happy to point you to a site where I found help if I know of one.  It’s my goal to post a monthly News Letter.  In it I hope to share tips and ideas.  Also offer challenges and freebies. (who doesn’t like a good “freebie” now and then!)

So come on along… let’s get scrapping! 🙂
